Terms of Service

Quick take

• We protect speech inside the walls—within law, safety, and these rules.
• Contract-ready only (16+, typically 18+ for work).
• You own your content; we host and run the rails.
• Paid seats renew until you cancel; billing runs through a processor.

Using Operator Club

• One account per person. Keep credentials tight. Sign-in options: Google OAuth or email/password.
• You are accountable for actions from your account and the work you publish.
• Using the product = accepting these terms and the Sub Rosa rules.
• We may suspend or refuse access for misuse, security risk, or non-payment.

Service

Operator Club provides workspaces, channels, direct messages, notifications (including push), files/attachments, learning modules, and Operator-run projects/courses. Beta or preview features can change.

Subscriptions & fees

• Paid seats (e.g., OP Seat, OP Lead) bill on a recurring basis until you cancel before renewal. Taxes may apply.
• Payments run through our processor; we do not store full card numbers.
• Pricing or plan changes come with notice; continued use accepts the new pricing.
• Unless consumer law says otherwise, current-period fees are non-refundable; cancellation stops future renewals.

Content & licenses

• You own the content you upload or create.
• You grant us and the workspace owner a worldwide, royalty-free license to host, process, transmit, and display that content as needed to operate the service and comply with law.
• You confirm you have the rights to share the content and that it will not violate others' rights or applicable law.
• Workspace owners/admins may manage or remove content within their workspace; we may remove content that breaks these terms.

Operator Club IP

• We publish our own projects, courses, and copywriting. We own that material fully.
• Do not copy, leak, or redistribute Operator Club-owned material outside permitted channels.
• Where we allow limited internal use (e.g., inside a workspace), that does not grant you external distribution rights.

Confidentiality

• Treat workspace and project information as confidential unless explicitly marked public. No leaks outside.

Acceptable use

• No illegal content or conduct; no harassment or abuse.
• No spam, self-promo dumps, or automated scraping of the service.
• No reverse engineering, probing, or disabling security measures.
• No uploading malware or content that could disrupt the service or other users.
• Respect others' IP, privacy, and confidentiality. Do not publish screenshots or forwards outside allowed channels.
• Do not leak Operator Club content (projects, courses, internal materials) outside the platform.
• You hold the legal risk for what you publish; keep it lawful even as we keep room for open debate.

Termination

• You can leave or stop using the service anytime. Workspace admins can remove members.
• We may suspend or terminate access for violations, risk, inactivity, or non-payment.
• We retain minimal records as required by law or to resolve disputes. Workspace content may stay available to that workspace, subject to their controls.

Disclaimers & liability

• The service is provided “as is”. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.
• To the extent allowed by law, our total liability is limited to the fees you paid to us in the three months before the claim. We do not exclude liability where the law forbids (e.g., for fraud or intentional misconduct).
• Users are responsible for what they post or say. We host the platform and aim for open discussion, but legal responsibility for speech stays with the poster.

Governing law & disputes

These terms follow the laws of the country where Operator Club is established, plus applicable EU/EEA consumer laws. Courts there have jurisdiction unless local consumer law gives you other rights.

Changes

We may update these terms. If changes are material, we will notify you in-app or by email. Continued use means acceptance.
